About Us

Eric McGuffie is the Agency Owner and CEO of Axxess Benefit Consultants based in metro Atlanta, Georgia. He began his insurance career 29 years ago in Los Angeles, California where he excelled in selling Life, Health, and Long Term Care Insurance. During his 14 years with Humana as a Sales Manager where he recruited, trained, developed, and led an internal sales team, Eric was also responsible for the support and growth of Humana’s External Sales Channel. This role afforded him the opportunity to cultivate many authentic relationships that led him into his next endeavor, establishing Axxess Benefit Consultants.

At Axxess Benefit Consultants, Eric leads a team of licensed insurance agents who provide individuals with the product knowledge they seek when trying to navigate the complex insurance maze. Taking that approach enables everyone to make an informed and intelligent decision. Eric continues to strengthen the relationships he built in his previous role as he cultivates an agency where its core values are integrity, respect, and providing value.

When Eric is not busy orchestrating opportunities for the Axxess team, he enjoys cooking for his family, cutting his own grass, taking walks, and playing with his grandchildren. 

Jordan McGuffie is an Agency Development Manager at Axxess Benefit Consultants, where he guides beneficiaries and their families through the healthcare maze while also serving as a liaison between Axxess team members and our community partners.

He began his journey in insurance sales by knocking door-to-door selling Final Expense before becoming a Medicare specialist, and strongly believes in providing the tools and information necessary for individuals to make easy and informed decisions regarding their life and health coverage.

Prior to joining Axxess, Jordan was responsible for managing a fine dining concept for Brewed to Serve Restaurant Group where he was successful in maintaining long-standing relationships with patrons and organizations through various modes of communication, along with providing memorable guest experiences through service.

A graduate from Georgia State University, Jordan holds a degree in Sociology. When not hard at work creating engagement opportunities for Axxess agents, he enjoys spending time with his family, solving brain teaser puzzles, and trying out new restaurants.

Austin McGuffie is the Director of Sales at Axxess Benefit Consultants where he is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships with our agents and with our clients by ensuring that they have access to the insurance options that are tailored to their individual needs. His role involves leading a dynamic team, streamlining sales processes, and implementing innovative strategies that empower agents to excel.

Austin believes that success in this field isn’t just about understanding plans and policies—it’s about truly connecting with people. At Axxess Benefits, Austin strives to create an environment where agents feel like family and are equipped to offer guidance with integrity and compassion.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Austin is deeply passionate about health and wellness. He believes that a healthy lifestyle is essential to a quality life—this conviction drives his commitment to work on behalf of seniors. As a graduate of Georgia State University, Austin is proud to be part of a team that prioritizes people over profit and makes a positive impact in the community. He is also proud to be a dedicated husband to his wife of 11 years, and father to their four children.
